Association

Background

The first mediation organization in the Republic of Croatia was established in Končar, Zagreb which is consist of 25 companies, at the beginning of 2000. which also adopted Basic Principles and Rules of Procedure of Peaceful Dispute Resolution.

The main Association

The Croatian Mediation Association was founded on 29.September 2003 in Zagreb.

The mediation centers

The first Mediation Centre was established within Croatian Chamber of Commerce on 17. July 2002.
Then, more Mediation centers were created with the Croatian Chamber of Trades and Crafts and the Croatian Employers’ Association. They were followed by Regional mediation centers established within the Croatian Chambers of Commerce in Varaždin, Koprivnica, Pula, Split, and soon in Rijeka and Osijek.
