The Draft Law on Mediation
The Draft Law on Mediation has been prepared by a working group established by the Prime Minister’s office, but it has not been yet presented to the Assembly for discussion.
This Draft Law plans the establishment of a “Mediation Council”, within the Ministry of Justice, to certify and supervise mediation, training institutions and courses, and to monitor the duties and qualifications of mediators. It also requires the creation of an association of mediators in Kosovo. In Appendix, there is a code of conduct for mediators.
